As a Barista, you’re not just preparing and serving exceptional coffee and specialty beverages – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by creating memorable café experiences that make every guest’s visit truly special.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Delight our guests: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, providing exceptional service and creating memorable café experiences
- Prepare and serve beverages: Craft and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to brand recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain coffee bar operations: Keep the coffee station stocked, organized, and ready for service, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available
- Process payments efficiently and accurately: Use the point-of-sale system to handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions accurately
- Monitor product quality: Ensure the freshness and quality of coffee beans, milk, pastries, and other café products while maintaining proper inventory levels
- Maintain cleanliness and equipment: Clean and maintain coffee machines, grinders, utensils, and work areas to the highest standards
- Comply with regulatory standards: Follow all health, safety, food hygiene, and sanitation procedures, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
