Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, guiding initiatives from initial concept through final implementation and operational transition.
- Manage project scope, objectives, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, communication strategies, and reporting structures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Manage multiple complex projects or related initiatives simultaneously while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies depending on project requirements and organizational needs.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budget planning, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and challenges while developing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, sponsors, stakeholders, and delivery teams through effective communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization.
- Support proposal development activities, including project estimates, budgets, responses to requests for information, and implementation planning.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies, project management practices, and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects and leading large-scale client implementations.
- Proven experience delivering medium to large programs or projects successfully from planning through deployment and operational handoff.
- Experience managing projects involving software development, infrastructure, digital solutions, mobile platforms, vendors, and distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including quality assurance and release management processes.
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Agile project management certification is an asset.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.
- Experience in IT consulting, outsourcing, or large technology consulting environments is preferred.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and project estimation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with diverse teams.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Ability and willingness to travel for client implementations and onsite activities when required (up to approximately 30%, primarily within Quebec).
