Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive global marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, brand positioning, and growth priorities within the Life Sciences sector.
- Partner with executive leadership, sales, operations, and cross-functional teams to strengthen brand awareness, thought leadership, and pipeline generation.
- Lead integrated marketing initiatives spanning digital marketing, website optimization, SEO/SEM, social media, demand generation, and multi-channel content marketing.
- Translate complex scientific and technical concepts into clear, compelling, and audience-focused messaging while maintaining scientific accuracy and brand consistency.
- Oversee external communications, including media relations, industry events, conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and strategic partnerships to enhance market visibility.
- Leverage analytics, reporting tools, CRM platforms, marketing automation, and AI-enabled technologies to optimize campaign performance, personalization, and marketing efficiency.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and recommend data-driven improvements to maximize return on investment and business impact.
- Influence marketing priorities, budget allocation, vendor relationships, and strategic initiatives that support long-term organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, Communications, or a related discipline; an MBA, MSc, PhD, or other advanced degree is preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within Life Sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical communications, or a related industry.
- Proven success leading brand strategy, digital marketing, communications, and demand generation initiatives.
- Strong strategic planning, project management, and execution capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional storytelling and content development abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, SEO/SEM, and integrated campaign management.
- Experience using CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and AI-powered marketing technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and optimize campaign performance.
- Experience supporting global marketing initiatives and collaborating with cross-regional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% based on conferences, client meetings, and business needs.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from CAD $151,000 to $194,000.
