Marine Mechanic (Reporting to Cairo, IL)

Role responsibilities

The Marine Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the towboat fleet by performing inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment. This includes troubleshooting main propulsion and auxiliary machinery to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience. An active TWIC and valid driver's license are also required.
