This role is responsible for anchoring newscasts, reporting in the field, and producing compelling digital and CTV content.Responsibilities:Anchor assigned newscasts and present content in a clear, confident, and engaging mannerReport and produce original stories as a Multimedia Journalist, from enterprise to executionProduce content for multiple platforms, including television, digital, mobile, and Connected TV (CTV)Work closely with newsroom management to enterprise and develop stories dailyDemonstrate strong storytelling through dynamic live shots, stand-ups, creative graphics, and effective use of digital and social media platformsWrite, edit, and organize stories according to prescribed editorial style and format standardsGather, verify, and confirm information through interviews, observation, and researchBuild and maintain a strong network of sources to help the station stay ahead of the competitionContribute to digital and CTV-exclusive content, including breaking news, explainers, and feature storiesPerform special projects and other duties as assignedSalary: $60,000 to $65,000 annuallyRequirements & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field required (equivalent years of experience may substitute for education)Three (3) years of television anchoring and/or reporting experience preferredStrong on-air presence with solid vocal delivery, clear enunciation, and professional appearanceProven reporting and writing skills with sound editorial judgmentStrong understanding of digital platforms, social media, and evolving news consumption habitsAbility to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPromotes teamwork and maintains a cooperative, positive attitude with all station personnelSimilar Jobs (1)News / Sports MMJlocationsNY, Buffalotime typeFull timeposted onPosted 30+ Days AgoLoading© 2026 Workday, Inc.
