Accountabilities:
- Manage and maintain mainframe environments to support stable and efficient system operations.
- Develop, configure, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational workflows and reduce manual processes.
- Administer and support System Automation (SA) and NetView environments.
- Monitor system performance, identify operational issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of automation scripts and programming solutions.
- Follow established operational procedures and contribute to best practices for mainframe management.
- Support system enhancements and ensure automation processes align with business and technical requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in mainframe programming or system programming roles.
- Strong experience with mainframe environments and administration.
- Proficiency in System Automation (SA) and NetView administration.
- Experience using automation tools to improve mainframe operations.
- Understanding of mainframe programming concepts and infrastructure management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed technical teams.
- Must be able to work as a W2 employee without sponsorship.
- Competitive contract rate of $40–$50 per hour.
