Job Description:

As a Cyber Capability Practice Lead & Director in the Defense CTO organization, you are a triple‑threat leader who can sell, do, and manage. You lead a defined practice within our larger Cyber portfolio—spanning Zero Trust, Full‑Spectrum Cyber (offensive/defensive), OT/ICS, and platform & weapons cyber—and connect strategy to execution to deliver secure, mission‑aligned modernization outcomes across Defense.

You report to the Solutions Sr. Director and lead a high‑performing remote team, curating market‑ready offerings and talent that accelerate Growth (pursuit, solutioning) and Delivery (execution) from enterprise to edge. You also co‑lead IRAD workstreams to shape, prove, and transition leading and bleeding‑edge technologies—both from partners and from novel approaches we develop—into differentiated customer outcomes, with measurable transition‑to‑program (T2P) results.

HOW WILL A CTO Cyber Practice Lead MAKE AN IMPACT:

Lead a defined Cyber practice: Own and evolve offensive, defensive, OT/ICS, and platform & weapons cyber offerings, ensuring clear value, reusable assets, and delivery playbooks.

Be a triplethreat Partner with Growth to shape pursuits and lead solutioning. Develop compliant, compelling architectures and manage a high‑performing team with clear operating cadence and outcomes.

Curate offerings and talent: Build and govern the practice portfolio. Develop talent pipelines, role profiles, and upskilling paths. Align architects and delivery leads to priority pursuits and programs.

Drive endtoend Defense solutioning: Translate mission requirements into architectures aligned with Zero Trust and RMF. Deliver strong proposals and orals content with technical depth and executive presence.

Accelerate Growth and Delivery: Shape opportunities, integrate capabilities, and open new business while shortening time‑to‑value across enterprise IT, weapons/platforms, and OT environments.

Colead IRAD strategy and execution: Set priorities, run experiments, integrate partner and emerging tech, and measure T2P outcomes. Operationalize wins across the portfolio.

Stand up communities of practice: Create patterns, playbooks, and reusable assets for modernizing enterprise and edge environments. Codify best practices and broadcast wins.

Elevate delivery excellence: Align methods to customer needs, enforce outcome metrics, and coach teams to perform in dynamic selling and delivery environments.

Lead across a matrix: Drive clear decisions with executive presence, collaborating across CTO, Growth, and Delivery organizations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business‑related field or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 12+ years of progressive technical and team leadership experience with cyber, Zero Trust, infrastructure, and edge computing technologies in both selling (capture/solutioning) and delivery contexts; demonstrated leadership of a practice within a larger portfolio of offerings; background spanning Full‑Spectrum Cyber, Defensive, and DoD mission with application across Enterprise IT, weapons/platforms, and OT/ICS environments.
Security clearance Level: SECRET required to start with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, time management, and organizational discipline to drive highly technical teams in a rapidly evolving business environment; deep cyber technical skills and the ability to articulate and apply Zero Trust/RMF in proposal, orals, and delivery settings.

Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers, specifically the U.S. Military and DoD mission contexts (including constrained/SAP environments).

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
