Engineering Technician 1-4 (Materials Lab Tech)

Role responsibilities

Performs testing on various construction materials such as asphalt, concrete, and steel in accordance with DOTD procedures. Responsible for recording test data, maintaining sample logs, and performing basic maintenance and calibration on testing equipment.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED, or six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy equipment operation, or maintenance. Candidates must be able to perform technical calculations and follow specific testing protocols.
