Accountabilities:
- Lead daily enrollment and billing cash operations to ensure accurate payment posting, strong accounts receivable performance, and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Manage and support a team by setting clear objectives, aligning resources with business priorities, and creating accountability around performance and quality standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, training, career support, and performance management.
- Monitor operational metrics, productivity, quality results, and compliance indicators to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to reduce recurring issues, improve workflows, and strengthen operational controls.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, healthcare payers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to remove barriers and enhance service delivery.
- Stay informed on healthcare billing, reimbursement, and payer policy updates, translating changes into actionable guidance and process improvements.
- Support hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and team development initiatives to maintain a strong and effective operations function.
- Review, update, and maintain procedures, documentation, and training materials to promote consistent and compliant work practices.
- Use data-driven insights to improve payment accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall financial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare payment posting, billing, reimbursement, revenue cycle management, or related healthcare operations.
- 1+ year of experience leading, coaching, supervising, or coordinating the work of others.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing practices, third-party payer guidelines, reimbursement processes, and revenue cycle operations.
- Experience managing healthcare cash operations, payment posting, billing, or accounts receivable teams preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, provide feedback, and support employee growth.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, payers, and business partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Experience developing procedures, training resources, or operational controls is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and make sound decisions involving sensitive financial and healthcare information.
- Competitive annual salary range of $78,400 – $130,600, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.
