Summary:

Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, ambulation, and other basic care needs.
Monitor patients, collect vital signs, document observations, and report changes to the licensed nurse.
Transport patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked patient care areas, including equipment and supply inventory.
Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, and supporting patient documentation.
Assist with oxygen administration and other patient care tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a patient care training program (CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT-B, HHA, Military Medical Training, Nursing Assistant, or nursing student who has completed a clinical skills lab) or at least six months of direct patient care experience required.
Successfully complete department orientation and competency validation within six weeks of hire.
