What You Can Expect
The LATAM Benefits & HR Operations Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating manual HR processes across multiple Latin American countries, with a strong focus on employee benefits, leave administration, payroll inputs, vendor coordination, reconciliations, and compliance-sensitive transactions. This role supports country-specific programs in Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil and Chile, ensuring accurate execution, documentation, validation, and timely communication with employees, payroll, brokers, and external vendors. The role ensures operational excellence, compliance, financial accuracy, and a positive employee experience through effective administration of complex multi-country HR programs.How You'll Create Impact
- Coordinates and administers manual HR and employee benefits and processes across LATAM countries, including insurance plans and programs, changes, terminations, and employee updates.
- Prepares, validates, and maintains Excel-based files, trackers, forms, and country-specific templates for recurring HR operations.
- Performs manual eligibility validations for benefits, leave, bonuses, allowances, and other employee programs based on local rules and company policies.
- Reconciles payroll deductions, vendor invoices, balances, enrollments, loans, withdrawals, reimbursements, and funding files to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintains centralized leave and time-off tracking matrices and ensures accurate recording of country-specific leave types, accruals, usage, and supporting documentation.
- Administers country-specific leave programs including maternity, paternity, medical leaves, disability leaves, vacation programs, special leaves, and statutory absences.
- Coordinates with employees, managers, payroll, vendors, and local authorities to ensure accurate leave administration and compliance.
- Monitors leave balances, accruals, supporting documentation, and return-to-work processes.
- Partners with payroll teams to provide validated inputs for recurring and one-time payments such as miscellaneous bonuses, severance advances, profit sharing, transportation allowances, and statutory contributions.
- Supports administration of mobility-related programs including remote work outside the home country, temporary assignments, and country-specific mobility approvals.
- Tracks eligibility requirements, approvals, documentation, and compliance considerations.
- Coordinates with brokers, insurers, vendors, and third parties regarding enrollments, billing, claims, issue resolution, card management, replacements, contract administration, and lifecycle changes.
- Manages documentation and process controls for approvals, employee communications, claims support, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
- Monitors high-risk manual processes and escalate discrepancies, compliance concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Identifies opportunities to standardize, streamline, and improve manual HR processes across countries.

- Multi-Country HR Operations: Brings hands-on expertise in executing high-volume, transaction-based HR processes across diverse LATAM markets with strong attention to detail and country-specific compliance.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Leverages strong communication and collaboration skills to build effective partnerships with brokers, insurers, payroll providers, and third-party administrators, ensuring aligned and efficient operations.
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, standardize manual processes, and strengthen audit readiness across the region.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience AMER
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- +3 years of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, payroll support, or shared services.
- Experience supporting multi-country LATAM HR, benefits, and payroll processes in Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia and/or Chile.
- Experience working with external vendors, brokers, payroll providers, or third-party administrators.
- Experience managing high-volume, manual HR and benefits administration processes—including insurance, statutory contributions, and leave tracking—in a controlled environment.
- Advanced Level of Excel and Microsoft Skills
- Adavanced level of data analytics It Tools (power bi, tablaeu etc)
Travel Expectations
- Occasional overnight domestic or intercontinental/international travel may be required up to 10% annually.
