Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Finance and Accounting graduate with several years of experience in the financial field to join us as the new Finance and Controlling Analyst in our Bulgaria office.THE JOURNEYSupport the Finance Director in the ongoing monitoring and management of the P&L, providing accurate data, insights, and follow-ups to ensure financial performance targets are met.Support the design and maintenance of strong financial controls by performing checks, reconciliations, and quality reviews across key finance processes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance workflows and reporting processes, helping identify opportunities to automate tasks, increase accuracy, and streamline data flows.Take active part in month-end closing procedures for purposes of both local and group reporting, by reviewing and validating data received from accountants, and submitting the financials to the Group Reporting teamSupport the Finance Director in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly re-forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planningResearches variance to budget and forecasts through detailed operational and financial metricsAssist in ensuring compliance with local accounting standards (local GAAP) and internal policies, working closely with accountants and advisors.Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc financial analysis to enable informed decision-makingSupport strategic projects such as cost optimisation, investment analysis and system implementationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting required, Master’s degree is a plus.2+ years of Audit/Controlling Experience. A combination of national and international exposure is a plus. A strong technical knowledge of accounting and compliance issues. Knowledge of digital industry issues a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using Navision or other general ledger packages is a plus.Proficient with Excel while applying strong analytical skills in the manipulation and understanding of data.Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes multiple projects, meets all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product.Detail oriented, results oriented.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Commitment to process improvement and exceptional attention to detailAdaptable to changing priorities with a commitment to ethical responsibilitiesIndividuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
