Accountabilities:
- Design and develop integration solutions using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, handlers, and transformations.
- Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Develop and maintain PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, File Layouts, XML, XSLT, and JSON-based solutions.
- Configure secure integrations using authentication methods such as WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based security.
- Implement monitoring, error handling, retry mechanisms, notifications, and support processes for production integrations.
- Lead modernization initiatives by migrating legacy integrations toward standardized and scalable integration patterns.
- Optimize high-volume integrations through performance tuning, queue management, parallel processing, and asynchronous architecture.
- Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications and middleware platforms, including Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow, OIC, MuleSoft, and Boomi.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration references, operational procedures, and support materials.
- Provide post-production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into durable technical solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience with significant expertise in PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services within PeopleSoft environments.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, and the PeopleSoft data model.
- Experience working with XML, XSLT, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with web service security standards, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and production environments.
- Knowledge of middleware solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or Boomi is highly desirable.
- Understanding of API management concepts and event-driven integration approaches.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and PeopleSoft certifications is preferred.
- Competitive annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000.
