About the team

The National Strategic Account Management team in Zillow Rentals partners with some of the largest multi-region rental organizations to help them grow, renew, and succeed across Zillow’s platform. We work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and partner-facing teams to deliver a seamless, data-informed experience that supports portfolio performance at scale. This team values collaboration, accuracy, and proactive communication, and plays an important role in building trusted relationships with partners while helping them get the most from Zillow Rentals.

About the role

The National Business Advisor, Rentals supports national account strategies for multi‑region rental partners by executing day‑to‑day account management activities, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to deliver a consistent, high‑quality partner experience. The role helps drive renewals, adoption, and performance insights across distributed portfolios while escalating risks and opportunities to senior account leaders.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Zillow Group, representing the interests of the company, advertisers, and industry partners.

  • Mentor and educate partners on Zillow’s products and services to achieve shared goals.

  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and retention metrics.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess goals, analyze results, and provide recommendations.

  • Analyze data and communicate insights to identify strengths and opportunities for partners.

  • Demonstrate expertise in local real estate trends, compliance, and market activity.

  • Utilize Zillow’s tech stack, including Salesforce and analytics tools, to manage your business and client relationships.

  • Represent the voice of the customer to influence product, marketing, and sales process improvements.

  • Execute against the MEDDPICC sales process and adopt Challenger principles in every customer interaction to drive insight-led, value-based conversations.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $43.50 - $69.50 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $41.30 - $66.10 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, or selling into accounts with multiple decision makers.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and key performance metrics.

  • High energy, positive attitude, and a strong drive to achieve results.

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.analytics.

  • Skilled at building relationships and engaging in high-level conversations with decision makers.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and data tools such as Excel and Google Analytics.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce.com or similar) preferred.
