ICT System Solution Architect
Responsible for assessing systems, Servers, storage, and virtualization, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems and predict possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
Strong Technical skills:
- Excellent understanding of backup & storage technologies (file servers, backup servers, NAS/SAN, VMAX, operating systems: Windows, Unix, Red Hat Linux, AIX and modular storage servers).
- Advanced experience in Dell EMC Storage (Unity, Isilon, data domain)
- Advanced experience in HP Storage (Nimble, Qumulo, StoreOnce).
- Advanced experience in IBM Storage (V7K, ESS).
- Oversees all aspects of the SAN architecture, providing insight on the design, backup strategies, and networking.
- Managing and Sizing Physical Servers multi vendors expert.
- Managing and Sizing Storage multi vendors expert.
- Managing and Sizing Systems and Applications experts.
- Windows and Linux Expert.
- Microsoft infrastructure expert.
- Datacentre design and implementation expert.
- Writing, debugging, and executing test scripts/ PowerShell.
- Experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
- Good knowledge of Networking [Certified CCNA].
- Good knowledge of Security Devices [Firewalls, Load balancers, Anti-Virus].
- Must experience configuring storage controllers following industry best practice and security baselines.
- Installing, configuring, and integrating servers associated with Nutanix/VMware virtual infrastructure.
- Experience on tasks such as aggregate creation, volume, and LUN provisioning, CIFS & NFS shares and replacement hard disk reassignment.
- Able to create High Level and Low-Level Document.
- to evaluate Project BOQ and BOM [Bill or Quantity and Bill of Material]?
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows environment, including Active Directory, DFS Namespace, CIFS file sharing, and windows clustering
- Must have experience performing OS upgrades, disk & disk shelf firmware upgrades and other related upgrades.
- Basic background of CCTV and ACS functions.
- Cloud and virtualization expert [Azure, AWS].
Leadership skills
- Leading ICT Servers and Storage design and deployment.
- Handling datacenter Subcontractors.
- Leading, maintaining and managing technical documentations.
- Interacting with Customer and consultant.
- Point of Integrating with ICT Network and Network Security sub vertical teams.
- Point of Integration with Honeywell Application Security team.
- Layer one of technical escalation.
- Rising a technical reporting to ICT vertical Leader.
- Handling Site and resources activities.
- Ability to Demonstrate organizational, writing, and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology /Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science or Related field.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in IT, Infrastructure and security projects, execution/commissioning background with an understanding of various s/w and h/w components.
- Must have experience in Menga Projects.
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in Multinational companies.
- Extensive prior experience in testing and commissioning on high value om public safety and Security projects.
- Vmware, Veeam and Microsoft Certifications as a plus.
- Very Good command of English.
