This position is in the Office of International Affairs, Office of Management and International Services. About: The Office of International and Tribal Affairs This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.
You will: Serve as senior budget officer, lead long-term budget strategy, shape policies on budget formulation and strategic planning, and establish plans and courses of action. Exercise independent oversight of national program level budgets, interpret guidelines, and prepare briefing materials for the Office of Management and Budget and Congressional budget hearings. Lead the development and execution of organizational operating plan, collaborate with staff and peers to ensure a shared understanding of program direction and its implications for international and Tribal programs. Advise on the development of workplans and strategic objectives, train/develop funds control officials, represent organization in meetings related to budgetary and financial responsibilities.
