Accountabilities
- Monitor the health, availability, and performance of critical systems and infrastructure, responding promptly to incidents and implementing preventive measures to minimize future disruptions.
- Support the reliability, scalability, and security of CI/CD pipelines by maintaining robust deployment processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement automation solutions that reduce manual intervention, streamline infrastructure management, and enhance overall system reliability.
- Perform proactive system patching, maintenance, and configuration updates while ensuring all infrastructure changes are accurately documented.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure and operational processes to improve performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to DevOps best practices by enhancing deployment workflows, operational monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.
- Produce technical documentation, reports, knowledge base articles, and operational guides to support engineering teams and maintain system transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and continuously improve platform resilience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration, network administration, or site reliability engineering.
- Active T3 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances for classified environments.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and containerization technologies.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and infrastructure security best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced technical environments.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience creating technical documentation and operational reports.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications are considered strong advantages.
