Supervisory Program Manager

As a Supervisory Project Manager (Programs) - Project Support Director, you will provide highly expert professional and/or technical consulting and services surrounding major, complex programs managed and/or facilitated by OPPM. Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX) We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Provides high level professional, administrative and technical resources in the areas of design, construction, and complex project management programs and projects. Advises the Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) on important matters relating to the design, construction and all relevant OPPM programs, activities and initiatives managed by the Division. Serves as a Senior Program Manager and provides expert leadership, analysis, guidance, technical direction and management coordination for PBS Projects. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work based on priorities Establishes high level partnerships with stakeholders and others and is responsible for justifying, defending, influencing, negotiating and informing senior management officials
