Then come and join our global team as the Accounting Specialist to execute consolidation, analysis and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements and to keep abreast of changes in internal guidelines and external accounting standards.

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our finance operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Working closely with internal stakeholders and our external accounting provider, you will help maintain compliance with local statutory requirements while supporting IFRS reporting and financial analysis.

In this role, you will:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including IFRS adjustments and reconciliations.

  • Upload and reconcile Trial Balances in SAP and ensure alignment between local accounting and IFRS reporting.

  • Review supplier invoices and support payment processing in line with company policies.

  • Prepare customer invoices and support billing activities for both intercompany and external customers.

  • Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, follow up on outstanding balances, and assist with collection activities.

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support management reporting and financial analysis.

  • Liaise with external accounting providers, banks, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Maintain finance documentation and support local administrative and treasury-related activities.

  • Contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting regulations.

Desired Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in accounting or finance, ideally within an international business environment.

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; exposure to IFRS is an advantage.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Fluent English and Bulgarian, both written and spoken.
