**Summary:**
Meta's Finance team is undergoing a significant transformation to define and execute our finance organization's aspirations. The Modern Finance team is a key enabler of this vision, acting as a catalyst for innovation, productivity, and enhanced employee experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Management Lead with strong project and program management experience to lead a team of finance program managers, responsible for executing our finance long-term integrated roadmap. As a Program Management Lead, you will be part of a designated modern finance cluster, leading a team of program managers. Your team will focus on executing projects aligned with specific finance functions within your designated cluster. You will build and sustain a high-performing team of senior Program Managers, growing leadership capability and ensuring your organization delivers at scale against Meta's most complex finance transformation initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
Manager, Finance Program Management Responsibilities:
1. Enable the successful delivery of the finance transformation roadmap by setting clear execution priorities, allocating team capacity against strategic goals, and ensuring the PM organisation is structured to deliver at scale
2. Partner with the Planning & Partnership function to ensure delivery feasibility of roadmap commitments
3. Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end processes and the finance transformation landscape. Shape how the Modern Finance PMO operates — contributing frameworks, standards, and cultural norms that elevate the broader organisation. Model Meta's values foster an environment where team members can openly share ideas and concerns, and create an environment of continuous learning across both your team and the cluster
4. Champion technology and AI adoption at the organizational level — not just within your team but across the Cluster. Identify step-change improvements in how programs are discovered, planned, executed, and measured. Drive AI-augmented ways of working that expand your team's reach and impact
5. Manage and develop a team of Program Managers. Set clear expectations at the team and individual level, provide high-quality coaching, and give direct, actionable feedback. Hold the team accountable for impact — not just activity — and address performance issues with fairness and support. Think beyond individual performance: be intentional about team composition, capability gaps, and succession planning to build a sustainable team with no single point of failure
6. Ensure high-quality execution across the cluster portfolio. Provide strategic oversight on the most complex programs, coaching PMs to lead independently and removing blockers that impede delivery
7. Build deep, trust-based relationships across finance functions, GPOs, technology partners, and change management. Influence priorities and decisions at senior levels (M2 peers, Directors) across organizational boundaries. Proactively manage expectations, seek feedback, and represent the team's work at governance forums. Debug dysfunctional cross-functional dynamics and unblock teams
8. Own risk management for the cluster portfolio. Establish escalation frameworks, anticipate systemic risks, and ensure the team surfaces issues early with proposed mitigations. Make sound decisions with incomplete information
9. Oversee the change impact assessment and adoption planning across the portfolio. Ensure change readiness is embedded in program delivery — collaborating with Change SMEs on complex transformations while coaching PMs to own change deliverables on standard projects
10. Strategically manage the team's capacity across functional areas. Make trade-off decisions on resource allocation, identify structural constraints, and work with Cluster Leads to ensure portfolio commitments are sustainable
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Minimum Qualifications:
11. 10+ years of program/project management experience, with 5+ years of leading program/project management teams
12. Experience managing teams of 7 or more senior professionals in a complex, matrixed environment
13. Deep domain knowledge in finance operations and transformation
14. Track record of delivering large-scale transformation programs
15. Experience navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex organisational contexts
16. Strong stakeholder management skills at a leadership level
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Preferred Qualifications:
17. Experience in a technology company environment
18. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
19. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
20. PMP, Prosci, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications are preferred
21. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
22. Track record of building scalable program management capabilities within a finance organization undergoing rapid growth or structural change
23. Experience applying structured program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) to finance operations contexts
