About the Senior Social Media Specialist Role...

As the Senior Social Media Specialist, you will lead the execution of global social media strategies for the SiteMinder and Little Hotelier brands. You'll create engaging, social-first content that increases brand awareness, drives audience engagement, and strengthens brand advocacy across key social platforms.

Reporting to the Communications Manager in Manila, you'll play a key role in shaping how our brands connect with audiences both internally and externally. You'll stay ahead of social media trends, identify opportunities to create impactful content, and build organic campaigns that encourage meaningful interactions and community growth.

We're looking for a creative, highly organized, and proactive social media professional with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social media best practices, and proven experience growing brand presence through organic social media strategies. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, and be excited to take on new challenges.

What you’ll do…

  • Work with the PR & Communications team to deliver the global social media strategies for our SiteMinder and Little Hotelier brands, aligned with business goals and the latest best practices

  • Manage all organic activity on the SiteMinder and Little Hotelier social platforms

  • Execute the SiteMinder and Little Hotelier social calendars, ensuring frequency and balance, with the goal of strengthening our brands within key markets

  • Create content autonomously and, where needed, produce design briefs to ensure visually-striking content

  • Respond to all incoming messages and commentary on our social channels, and work closely with senior internal stakeholders globally to manage issues requiring escalation

  • Produce fresh and engaging social content that brings our brand personalities to life, profiles our people and culture, adheres to our tone of voice guidelines, and drives engagement, reach and growth

  • Engage with our global customer and industry community online

  • Produce localisation briefs to localise relevant targeted content

  • Identify and collaborate with micro influencers to accelerate key results

  • Drive a social-first culture within SiteMinder and support the upskilling of team members

  • Produce detailed monthly reporting on all agreed KPIs, and constantly look at ways to accelerate or optimise results

What you'll have...

  • 3+ years of experience in social media content creation, preferably within a B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of both organic and paid social media, including platforms, audience targeting, and current best practices.

  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging, concise content that reflects brand personality, tone of voice, and key messaging across diverse audiences.

  • Creative ability to independently produce multimedia content and develop clear design briefs for visually compelling assets.

  • Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Experience using social media management tools and following publishing workflows and community management processes.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media insights and apply data-driven recommendations.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including regional leadership teams.

  • Passion for social media, with a proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and adapt.

  • Highly organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
