Accountabilities:
- Develop applications using the OutSystems platform, with support and collaboration from experienced developers.
- Implement low and medium-complexity functionalities according to defined requirements and technical standards.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on existing applications.
- Support the interpretation of functional requirements, business flows, and application rules.
- Translate business requirements into simple, effective, and platform-aligned technical solutions.
- Participate in requirement discussions with business analysts and technical teams.
- Support the development and consumption of REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Assist in creating and maintaining data models, entities, and simple queries.
- Ensure accurate use, management, and updating of application information.
- Execute unit and functional tests to validate developed features.
- Support testing, user validation, bug fixes, and adjustments identified by QA teams and users.
- Follow quality, usability, documentation, and development best practices.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving incidents in development and testing environments.
- Support technical assistance for applications developed with OutSystems.
- Learn to interpret platform logs and error messages to assist troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and IT teams in an agile environment.
- Follow established development, versioning, and documentation processes.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in training activities and progressively take ownership of more complex development tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or completed higher education.
- Knowledge of the OutSystems platform, including Reactive and/or Traditional Web applications.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge of data modeling and relational database fundamentals, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Basic understanding of system integrations and REST and/or SOAP API consumption.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript applied to application interfaces.
- Familiarity with corrective and evolutionary application maintenance.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with development standards, version control, environments, and deployment processes is a plus.
- OutSystems Associate Developer certification or certification in progress is a differentiator.
- Academic experience, internships, or personal projects involving OutSystems are considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and usability is desirable.
