Senior Technical Leader (Embedded) – RTOS and AUTOSAR

Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Leader with 8-12 years of experience to drive architecture, design, and development of next-generation embedded software platforms based on RTOS and AUTOSAR standards. The candidate will lead technical initiatives across multiple automotive programs like Diagnostics, CAN communication , ensuring high-quality, scalable, and safety-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead the design and development of embedded software solutions based on AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive) and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Define system architecture, software design strategies, and best practices across programs.
Drive technical decision-making and mentor engineering teams.
Review and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with industry standards.
AUTOSAR Development
Design and implement AUTOSAR components including:
Basic Software (BSW)
MCAL integration
RTE configuration
Communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Perform configuration and integration using tools such as Vector DaVinci,
RTOS Expertise
Work with RTOS such as AUTOSAR OS, FreeRTOS, QNX, Integrity, or VxWorks.
Optimize scheduling, task management, memory handling, and inter-process communication.
Ensure deterministic behavior and performance optimization.
System Integration & Debugging
Lead system integration, bring-up, and debugging activities.
Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues.
Use tools like JTAG debuggers, CANoe/CANalyzer, Trace32, etc.
Process & Compliance
Ensure compliance with automotive standards:
ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
ASPICE
Contribute to safety analysis, FMEA, and documentation.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, validation).
Interface with customers and stakeholders for technical discussions and issue resolution.
Drive estimation, planning, and risk management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming
Deep understanding of:
AUTOSAR architecture and methodology
RTOS concepts (task scheduling, synchronization, interrupts)
Hands-on experience with:
AUTOSAR tools (DaVinci, Lauterbach)
Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas)
Software & Tools
Debugging tools: Lauterbach, GDB, Trace tools
Version control: Git
Build systems: Make, CMake
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Domain Expertise
Automotive Embedded Systems
Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
Diagnostics (UDS, DoIP, SomeIP) – preferred
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
Proven experience leading technical teams (3-5 engineers).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to mentor and upskill engineers.
Proactive, result-driven, and quality-focused.
