What is the opportunity?
As the Trader, you will be responsible for providing high-touch, best efforts execution support for client transactions across all asset classes.
What will you do?
- Handles product inquiries from sales
- Perform dealing transactions on various asset classes, (Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Products)
- Helps to communicate trade ideas
- Maintains trade records
- Acts as a liaison between dealers/issuers and settlements
- Works closely with settlements to ensure a smooth
- settlement process
- Provides back-up role for other asset class trading functions
- Performs projects and tasks as assigned
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- University degree in Finance, Economics or other relevant professional qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in Multi-Asset Dealing,
- Excellent communication skills and effectively escalate opportunities or client complaints to Trading Management.
- Attention to detail in service to investment professionals and maintain the ability to execute orders without errors and to advisor satisfaction.
- Responsible and dependable to follow corporate policy and procedure, meet job expectations on a consistent basis and respond to correction as presented by Trading management.
- Proficiency with relevant functions on Bloomberg.
- Appropriate licenses in Hong Kong.
- Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to participate in rotation to work on public holidays when necessary.
- This role might have to do rotation with London Shift traders.
