Software Validation Engineer II (M/F/D)
As an Software Validation Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for verification and validation activities of satellite communication software used in aerospace applications. You will technically participate in projects, ensure delivery of correct and complete results. You will collaborate closely with manual and automation testers to deliver robust testing solutions that enhance product performance.This role offers a strong foundation for a career in software engineering, with a focus on verification, automation, and systems understanding in a regulated environment.You will contribute to ensuring that software meets defined requirements through structured verification approaches, combining programming, analysis, and system-level thinking.
You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Brno, Czechia location on a Hybrid work schedule.
This position offers a balanced mix of manual test execution, test automation, and requirements‑based verification in a regulated aerospace environment.

Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology that help aircraft perform safely and with precision. - Contribute to verification and validation activities for satellite communication software
- Analyze system and software requirements and derive clear, testable verification cases
- Design and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execution of manual tests for Satcom products per defined test procedures
- Work with versioning system GIT, ticketing system JIRA, requirements management tool DOORS
- Collaborate with engineers and testers to ensure complete and accurate verification coverage
- Support continuous improvement of verification methods, tools, and processes
- The job assigmnet might vary based on primary managers' directives
YOU MUST HAVE
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, testing, or development
- Proficiency in Python programing language
- Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written) mandatory
- Ability to read and analyze technical requirements and design documentation
WE VALUE
- Experience in aerospace, avionics, satellite communications, or safety‑critical systems
- Familiarity with DO‑178 or similar regulated environments
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows
- Understanding of network or communication technologies
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS or similar)
- Excellent communications skills (both written and oral)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, able to work independently
