Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Aegis is partnered with a long-standing manufacturer of highly customized industrial scissor lifts and dock lifts that is experiencing significant growth and operational expansion. This organization operates a 125,000 sq. ft. facility and is already planning an additional 30,000 sq. ft. expansion to support increased customer demand. Ownership continues to reinvest heavily into the business through new equipment, facility upgrades, solar infrastructure, and a company-wide ERP transition to Epicor.They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a collaborative accounting team and support full-cycle AP activities within a busy discrete manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible role that works closely with the Controller, ownership, and cross-functional departments.Responsibilities:Perform full-cycle accounts payable processing in a manufacturing environmentComplete three-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receiptsCode invoices to the proper general ledger accountsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between vendors, purchase orders, and receiving documentationProcess weekly vendor payments via check, ACH, and wire transfersReview vendor statements and respond to payment inquiries in a timely mannerSet up new vendors in accordance with internal company policiesMaintain accurate 1099 vendor files and assist with annual reportingProcess monthly AP accruals including utilities and service invoicesSupport month-end close, year-end audit preparation, and special accounting projectsAssist with the transition from Fourth Shift to Epicor ERPRequirements:2–5+ years of Accounts Payable experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong three-way matching and invoice discrepancy resolution experienceExperience with vendor payments, 1099s, and AP accrualsERP experience required (Epicor, Fourth Shift, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activitiesStrong Excel and data entry skillsPositive, easy-going personality with the ability to work closely within a small accounting teamIdeal Background:Discrete manufacturing, metal fabrication, job shop, or engineered-to-order environmentsExperience in small, collaborative accounting teamsERP conversion or system migration exposure Show more Show less Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Aegis Worldwide by 2x See...
