Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute the Trucks & Off-Road strategic roadmap, including annual priorities, business development goals, OKRs, KPIs, and performance reviews.
- Align initiative strategies with organizational objectives, funding opportunities, market trends, and industry needs.
- Oversee major programs, incentive initiatives, research efforts, demonstrations, fleet engagement activities, and commercialization projects.
- Provide executive oversight of project scopes, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and portfolio performance.
- Drive the development and implementation of innovative clean transportation pilots and deployment programs.
- Collaborate with policy teams and external stakeholders to advance regulatory frameworks supporting zero-emission vehicle adoption.
- Provide technical expertise on advanced truck technologies, alternative fuels, charging infrastructure, and transportation electrification strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, fleets, utilities, suppliers, government agencies, foundations, and community organizations.
- Partner with business development teams to identify funding opportunities, support proposals, and expand strategic partnerships.
- Represent the organization at industry events, technical forums, policy discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers, technical experts, and analysts while fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Coordinate effectively across regional teams, internal departments, and external partners to ensure successful program execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the medium- and heavy-duty vehicle sector and/or commercial off-road equipment industry.
- 7+ years of experience managing complex programs and projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership cultivation, or strategic relationship management.
- Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, and managing organizational performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing clean transportation programs, including zero-emission vehicle deployments and related infrastructure planning.
- Strong understanding of policy, regulatory, and market factors influencing commercial transportation electrification.
- Knowledge of advanced vehicle technologies, including battery-electric systems, hydrogen fuel cells, and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating with vehicle manufacturers, fleets, utilities, government agencies, and industry organizations.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical strategies and implementation plans.
- Strong strategic thinking, operational planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with technical publications, public speaking, modeling, business case analysis, or vehicle performance assessments is preferred.
- Familiarity with utility electrification challenges for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, including drayage and long-haul applications, is preferred.
- Competitive salary range of $140,000–$177,960 annually.
