This is a high-impact problem-solving role at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify data production problems, design solutions, and own end-to-end implementation.The ideal candidate brings intellectual depth and rigour: someone who goes beyond surface-level fixes, researches problems thoroughly, and thinks carefully before acting.‍Key Responsibilities‍Data StrategyOwn and drive the data strategy for assigned data production units, identifying coverage gaps, quality issues, and scalability bottlenecks.Translate business and client data requirements into clear, actionable roadmaps.Benchmark Tracxn's data assets against industry standards to identify improvement areas and strategic opportunities.‍Problem Solving & ImplementationBreak down complex, unstructured data problems into clear problem statements and solution blueprints.Design and implement automation workflows to improve data production throughput and accuracy.‍Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate data strategy into scalable processes and align on data definitions, standards, and delivery requirements.Communicate data strategy, progress, and key metrics to senior leadership.‍Qualifications & Skills‍Must-HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a Tier-1 institution (IITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent).Strong first-principles problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and design practical, scalable solutions.5–8 years of experience in data strategy, data operations, analytics, business strategy, or other analytical, technology-driven, or data-adjacent roles.Comfortable working at the intersection of data and technology, with the ability to understand code, system design, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.‍Good to HavePrior experience with B2B data platforms, market intelligence, or private company data.Hands-on experience with automation tools or RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent).‍Key CompetenciesProblem-First Thinking: Goes deep on problems before proposing solutions, researches root causes, evaluates multiple approaches, and brings rigour to analysis and execution.Structured Communication: Communicates complex data and operational challenges clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Automation Mindset: Consistently looks for scalable, automation-driven solutions instead of manual workarounds.Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical systems, constraints, and trade-offs.Ownership and Execution: Takes end-to-end ownership of problems and drives them through to resolution with minimal oversight.‍Why Join Tracxn?High-ownership role with a direct impact on the quality and scale of a market-leading data platform.Opportunity to drive impact and shape the future of private market intelligence.Meritocracy-driven, candid culture.
