As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of flight management systems for commercial and defense aircraft. You will work within a cross-functional team on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of aviation. Your expertise in systems engineering and your passion for innovation will contribute to the success of our products and the safety of our customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the aviation industry by designing and implementing flight management systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop flight management system requirements
- Design and define flight management system architectures and interfaces
- Perform system integration and testing to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
- Support the certification process for flight management systems
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
