As an Analyst within the Investment Specialist Support team, you will play a key role in supporting institutional hedge fund solutions client coverage across the alternative investments platform. You will focus on delivering high-quality reporting, data management, and analytical support to enable effective client servicing and investment communication.
Working closely with Investment Specialists, Client Advisors, and internal teams (e.g., Investment Research, Risk, Technology and Data), you will help enhance the client experience through accurate data, efficient processes, and scalable reporting solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data, Reporting and Analytics:
- Support production of client reporting, portfolio reviews, and performance summaries
- Own the production of presentation materials, across platform and funds
- Maintain and validate datasets including fund performance, positioning, and risk metrics .Assist in analyzing return drivers across strategies (e.g., multi-strategy, macro, relative value)
- Process Improvement and Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and eliminate duplication.Participate in technology-driven initiatives, including process reengineering
- Support data enrichment and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability. Contribute to development of tools and workflows to enhance data quality and accessibility
- Client Support and Deliverables
- Assist in preparation of client materials, including pitchbooks and portfolio review packs .Support Investment Specialists with meeting preparation and follow-ups
Help ensure consistency and accuracy of content across deliverables. Partner with cross-functional teams across JPMAM including Investment Specialists, Client Advisors, Risk, Technology and other stakeholders
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services, asset management, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, Tableau)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Interest in financial markets and alternative investments
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Exposure to hedge fund or alternative investment strategies
- Familiarity with risk and performance metrics
- Progress toward CFA and/or CAIA a plus
