What You Will Do *
Provide technical support to shop operations covering internal repair (IR), engine, and module assembly, ensuring adherence to engineering and quality standards.
Develop, implement, and optimize assembly and repair processes with a focus on automation and robotics integration.
Collaborate with system integrators to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process-related issues, including fault code analysis.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of technology-driven and automation projects.
Partner with OEMs to support tooling design modifications and enable local fabrication for automation solutions.
Identify process inefficiencies and implement effective corrective actions through structured problem-solving methodologies.
Oversee site-level Process Certification and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing turnaround time, and optimizing operational costs.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support their professional development.
Lead or contribute to special engineering and automation projects as assigned by management.
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have *
· Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience troubleshooting, testing in robotics applications.
· Proficiency in robotics systems (ABB, FANUC & Yaskawa etc.) and PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Siemens & Omron etc.).
· Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematic and engineering drawing.
· Knowledge in vision and motion control system.
· Knowledge of major modules and Aero engine systems is a plus.
· Knowledge in tool design and/or 3D modelling will be an advantage.
· Good working knowledge in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Versatile worker who can work well in a team setting and independently.
· Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.
