And we're just getting started.Join us to put AI to work for people. Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Corporate Accounting Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for Fixed Assets Accounting, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP (ASC 360) and supporting the preparation of financial reports, audits, and continuous process improvements.What we are looking for:An energetic and ambitious CA/CPA/CMA with 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, who aims to build a career in Corporate Accounting. You will have the opportunity to learn alongside best-in-class professionals, in a role that will grow as you develop and are able to take on increased responsibility.Excellent task prioritization and organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to cope with complexity in a fast-paced environment.What you get to do in this role:Prepare and post journal entries related to lease additions, modifications, re-measurements, and terminations.Assist in reviewing and interpreting lease agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment.Maintain and reconcile lease schedules for ROU assets and lease liabilities.Support disclosure requirements for lease accounting in financial statements.Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for lease accounting.Perform lease-related account reconciliations, and variance analysis, and ensure accuracy in reporting.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and regulatory reporting related to lease assets.Fixed Asset Accounting Responsibilities:Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring timely capitalization, depreciation, and disposals in accordance with company policies.Review and analyze capital project costs to ensure appropriate accounting treatment in line with US GAAP (ASC 360) and internal policies.Perform monthly capital expenditure (CapEx) reconciliations and prepare related reports.Collaborate with Business and FP&A teams to ensure accurate capitalization of costs and adherence to accounting policies.Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to fixed assets.Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for fixed asset activities.Provide variance analysis and commentary for MoM, QoQ, and YoY changes.Contribute to the preparation of materials for the CAO deck related to fixed assets.Assist in analyzing multiple fixed asset thresholds and other related assessments.Support the preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures related to fixed assets.Ensure compliance with SOX controls, company policies, and US GAAP requirements.Monitor and ensure timely testing of internal controls, proactively addressing any deficiencies.Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and resolving audit requests promptly.Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements and automation in fixed asset accounting.QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
