Position SummaryOur client is seeking a Vice President of North America Field Sales & Education to lead and elevate its North American field organization. Reporting directly to the President of Global Sales, this executive will be responsible for developing the field strategy, leading a team of Field Sales leaders, and driving retail performance across Sephora and Ulta. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. This individual will build high-performing teams, strengthen retailer partnerships, and ensure flawless execution of sales and education initiatives that drive brand awareness, sell-through, and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the North American Field Sales & Education strategy to achieve sales, productivity, and brand growth objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Sales leaders, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with Sephora and Ulta to maximize business opportunities and strengthen retailer relationships.
  • Drive sell-through by ensuring best-in-class execution across field sales, education, events, and in-store initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Education, and Operations teams to align field priorities with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, retail trends, and market opportunities to identify actionable insights and optimize results.
  • Develop field budgets, staffing strategies, incentive programs, and performance metrics to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Create scalable field processes and operating standards that support continued business growth.
  • Champion talent development by recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top-performing field leaders.
  • Travel regularly to retail partners, regional markets, and corporate meetings to support the field organization and strengthen retailer relationships.
  • Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy and organizational growth.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Field Sales and/or Education within the prestige beauty industry.
  • Proven success leading large, multi-level Field Sales & Education organizations in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing both the Sephora and Ulta businesses.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales, field execution, education strategy, and omnichannel consumer engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and business planning capabilities.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and field productivity metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be based in the New York City area or open to relocating to NYC.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $220,000 + 30% bonus annually based on experience.
