Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics operations.
- Configure and support SAP MM processes such as:
- Purchase requisition
- Request for quotation
- Purchase order
- Goods receipt
- Invoice verification
- Stock transfer
- Subcontracting
- Consignment
- Inventory management
- Batch management
- Valuation and account determination
- Configure and support SAP EWM processes such as:
- Organizational structure setup
- Warehouse structure and storage types
- Inbound processing
- Outbound processing
- Putaway and picking strategies
- Internal warehouse movements
- Physical inventory
- Handling units
- Slotting and rearrangement
- Labor management where applicable
- RF framework and mobile transactions
- Work on integration between MM and EWM for warehouse execution and stock movements.
- Support integration with FI, SD, PP, QM, TM, and WM/EWM-related processes.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, forms, reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Support master data setup and migration activities for material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, source list, warehouse master data, and storage bins.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and go-live support.
- Troubleshoot business process issues and provide production support.
- Prepare process documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Work with business users, developers, basis, and cross-functional SAP teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM and SAP EWM.
- Good understanding of procurement, inventory management, and warehouse management processes.
- Experience in MM-EWM integration scenarios.
- Knowledge of warehouse structure setup, inbound/outbound processing, picking, putaway, and physical inventory.
- Experience with valuation, account determination, release strategy, and purchasing configuration in MM.
- Understanding of integration with FI, SD, PP, and QM.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP MM/EWM experience.
- At least one implementation or rollout project experience in MM or EWM. AMS experience is mandatory
- SAP MM or EWM certification is a plus.
- Experience with RF devices, barcode processes, and warehouse automation integration is an advantage.
