Job Title:
Lead Digital Product Manager – Attract & Discover
About Bombas:
Bombas is a comfort focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. The company launched in 2013, after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. From there, they set out to solve that problem, donating a pair of socks for every pair they sell. How do you donate a lot of socks? You sell a lot. And how do you sell a lot? You make the most comfortable socks in the history of feet. Millions of pairs sold and donated later, Bombas has continued to innovate within its mission and product, introducing new socks, as well as underwear and t-shirts, the #2 and #3 most requested clothing items at homeless shelters, all while continuing to make a positive impact on the community where we all work and live.

The word Bombas is derived from the Latin word for bumblebees. Bees work together to make their hive a better place. At Bombas, we’re inspired by that. We know it’s the collective efforts of our team that keeps the Hive alive and strong - a team that is diverse and inclusive. Different perspectives strengthen our ability to make the most comfortable versions of the products people wear closest to their bodies every day and to serve the communities where we all work and live. We are committed to continuously building a Hive where all are welcomed, seen, and heard regardless of age, color, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, genetics, physical or mental ability, protected veteran status race, religion and sexual orientation. As a team, we will strive to create room for different experiences and empower all voices.
Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City.About the Job:
We are looking for a strategic and technically sharp team player to join our Digital Product team as our Lead Digital Product Manager – Attract & Discover, reporting directly to our Head of Digital Product. The ideal candidate has experience in digital product management with deep expertise in acquisition-oriented digital experiences — from the moment a customer lands on Bombas, through the discovery surfaces, routing logic, and entry-point architecture that connects them to the right product. This is an opportunity to own the full top-of-funnel product mandate: on-site search and navigation, intent-based entry points, ad-to-site landing experiences, and the technical infrastructure that makes Bombas findable and relevant across traditional and AI-driven channels.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for on-site discovery and acquisition surfaces — including search, navigation, collections, landing pages, and guided entry flows — setting long-term vision and ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Define and drive the team’s north star: first-touch to product surface rate, the % of new and lapsed-customer sessions that reach a meaningful product interaction. Own the input metrics — organic and SEO/GEO session growth, search-to-product rate, navigation engagement rate — and move them.
- Lead the technical SEO, AEO, and GEO product strategy: partner with Engineering on crawlability, site structure, schema, and product data enrichment to ensure Bombas surfaces effectively in both traditional search and AI-driven discovery channels.
- Own the ad-to-site journey as a product surface: design and build intent-based routing logic, dynamic landing experiences, and personalized entry points that connect paid and organic channels to the right on-site experience for the right customer.
- Own the content system and visual storytelling surfaces as product experiences — not just templates. Define what content structure, taxonomy, and entry-point design does for conversion at the top of the funnel.
- Serve as the primary product partner to Marketing and Brand for acquisition surfaces — translating campaign needs into durable, reusable product capabilities.
- Lead multi-phase initiatives from problem definition to launch and iteration, coordinating across Engineering, UX, Analytics, Site Merch, Creative, and Marketing.
- Own A/B tests end-to-end: define hypotheses, set success metrics, size experiments, monitor performance, and report findings.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data — funnel analysis, session behavior, search query data, organic performance signals — and translate them into actionable initiatives.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to team culture, modeling a balance of strategic clarity, execution excellence, and customer-first thinking.
What we’ll love about you:
- Motivated by the top-of-funnel problem — you find it interesting that most sessions never reach a product, and you want to fix that.
- A systems thinker who designs for reuse: you build routing logic, content models, and entry-point architectures that compound over time rather than solving one campaign at a time.
- Comfortable holding both the strategic and executional thread — you can write a product strategy and a tight PRD in the same week.
- You have a point of view on how AI is reshaping organic discovery and can translate that into product decisions without waiting for the roadmap to catch up.
- You’re as comfortable in a Marketing conversation about a campaign landing page as you are in an Engineering discussion about crawl budget or routing logic.
- A team player who is willing and happy to help
- Belief in our mission and understand the importance of giving-back
- Inquisitive, love to learn, embrace failure, and never give up
What you’ll love about us:
- We are a team of smart, interesting, diverse, funny, and loving people.
- We offer competitive compensation, employer paid health, medical and dental benefits, 401k with match, paid parental leave, snacks, socks and a fun, relaxed office environment.
- We take the responsibility to make sure you are excited, happy, and find fulfillment in your work very seriously.
- We value fun. This is why we host office lunches, offsite team outings and company retreats.
- We believe in giving back to the community and helping those in need, which is why we volunteer as a team regularly.
- We believe success comes from the collective effort of all, which is why all full-time employees receive equity in the business.
- We understand the value of health, relaxation, spending time with friends and family, and traveling the world and offer flexible paid time off for all full-time employees. This includes over 20 paid company holidays, year-round "Flexible Fridays" and unlimited vacation, sick, and wellness days.
- We understand the importance of communication and offer a monthly phone stipend for all full-time employees.
- We believe a healthy body equals a healthy mind, so we offer a $100 monthly wellbeing reimbursement to all full-time employees.
What you’ll bring:
- Digital product management experience with meaningful time on search, discovery, SEO, or acquisition-oriented DTC or eCommerce surfaces.
- A track record of owning top-of-funnel product strategy and moving organic acquisition or on-site engagement metrics with measurable, sustained impact.
- Technical fluency in how search engines, AI crawlers, and on-site search systems work — enough to partner credibly with Engineering on schema, crawlability, and site architecture decisions.
- Strong experimentation practice: you’ve run A/B tests end-to-end, scope them properly, and report findings in a way that builds confidence in the methodology.
- Experience coordinating across Marketing, Engineering, and content or creative stakeholders to ship acquisition-facing surfaces on time and with measurable results.
