What you will do:

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and P&W’s product development teams (IPT’s). The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results.

NPI has responsibility to all aspects of supply chain management; sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance.  NPI supports efforts using cutting edge technologies and designs in support of military and commercial next generation engine platforms.   This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to leverage working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs and multiple suppliers.

The NPI Castings Team is looking for an Accounts Specialist to procure and manage complex castings. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve challenges in support of on-time delivery and best value sourcing. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple P&W functional organizations.

Specific Job Responsibilities:  

  • Manage purchase orders throughout its entire lifecycle including requirements generation, initial quoting, negotiations, order creation, delivery assurance and billing
  • Develop sourcing strategies with NPI counterparts, factoring in near term needs and long-term strategy
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate supplier-related risks that may impact program execution and industrial plans
  • Collaborate closely with PWPR team to support quotation, order placement, and delivery assurance activities
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns, Quality Notifications (QNs)
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing and cross-functional teams to support supplier performance, sourcing initiatives, and business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements, including the Raytheon Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance regulations, P&W Procurement Manual, standard work processes, and transition requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal functional organizations and external suppliers.

Qualifications you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related fields: or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to travel as needed 10-15%

  • Understands how to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
