**Title and Summary**
Associate Specialist - Legal Services
The Employee Data Request (EDR) Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end employee rights Requests in accordance with global privacy regulations and Mastercard policies. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant handling of requests, including data collection, response preparation, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full lifecycle of Employee Date Requests (intake, tracking, execution, and closure) within defined SLAs and regulatory timelines.
• Prepare and validate data packages by coordinating with internal teams to gather personal data from multiple systems.
• Draft and send responses to data subjects using approved templates and in alignment with legal/privacy guidance.
• Collaborate with Privacy Counsels and stakeholders to obtain approvals prior to final response.
• Maintain accurate records in dedicated platforms and internal trackers to ensure audit readiness.
• Monitor deadlines, identify risks, and escalate issues to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reporting requirements, including extraction and preparation of EDSR metrics and dashboards.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Law, Compliance, or related field preferred)
• Relevant experience in privacy operations, legal services, or compliance
• Understanding of data subject rights (access, deletion, update, etc.)
Skills
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Stakeholder coordination across global teams
• Proficiency in Excel and case management/reporting tools
