The role will report to the JLL Client Finance team but will predominantly support the client with FP&A responsibilities:

 

JLL are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support our clients Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) FP&A team in Warsaw, Poland.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis and reporting, supporting monthly financial close activities, supporting preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting processes, and controllership. They will business partner with the JLL GREF operational teams to align financial insights with strategic priorities and provide recommendations to support high-level decision-making related to the company's real estate and facilities portfolio.

 

Key job responsibilities
• Driving quarterly, annual and multi-year budgeting and forecasting processes for both operational and capital expenditure.
• Lead monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics.
• Analyze variances to forecast and proactively communicate key drivers to senior management.
• Work closely with operational teams (project managers, facility managers), providing analytical support through deep-dive analysis.
• Review and challenge real estate strategy from a finance perspective, to ensure appropriate capital allocation.
• Be an expert in managing data in financial systems and develop automation programs to create insightful reports to drive business improvement.
• Liaise with various accounting teams on month end close, new programs and initiatives.
• Train business teams on finance processes, roll out new programs, and communicate platform changes.

Basic qualifications

• Experience in positions that require in-depth analysis and reporting financial results • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or related field. • Experience working with cross functional teams, diving deep into the details, and at the same time, being able to communicate key metrics to senior management. • Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position (working with international teams and clients). 
  • MBA or CFA.
  • Experience in the Real Estate and/or Facility Management industry, with an understanding of real estate accounting principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience with financial and accounting, procurement and data mining and reporting tools (Oracle, JDE E1, Coupa, SQL, Essbase, Cognos).
  • Customer Service: Commitment to solve requests and problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Confident and articulate with an eye for detail
  • Motivated, positive and flexible in approach to work and able to develop others in such an approach. 
  • Proactive in identifying issues and potential solutions. 
  • Self – supporting; diligent; can deliver to tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, and desire to develop. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and through challenges with the client; other members of the account and corporate teams.
