Accountabilities:
- Partner closely with G&A leadership to design and execute people strategies aligned with business priorities, ensuring organizational effectiveness, scalability, and high performance.
- Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts, including headcount planning, team structuring, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
- Drive talent management initiatives across hiring, development, retention, succession planning, and leadership growth in collaboration with Talent and business leaders.
- Support and coach leaders in performance management practices, fostering accountability, feedback culture, and high talent density.
- Champion culture and engagement initiatives that reinforce company values and strengthen connection across distributed teams.
- Guide leaders through change management processes during periods of transformation, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective communication.
- Leverage people analytics and HR data to surface insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Ensure people practices comply with employment regulations across the U.S. and Canada while supporting a global workforce model.
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Business Partner roles, ideally supporting G&A or corporate functions in a high-growth startup environment.
- Strong business partnership and influencing skills, with the ability to advise senior leaders and drive organizational outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Deep expertise in organizational development, including talent strategy, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Solid understanding of U.S. and Canadian employment laws and best practices in people operations.
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling organizations with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
- Proficiency with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS platforms such as Rippling and performance tools like Lattice) and comfort using data for decision-making.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving ability, and a proactive, execution-oriented mindset.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $155,000 – $175,000 USD/CAD, plus pre-IPO equity opportunities.
