Join us and redefine what's next for you.About the Role:HPE NonStop is seeking a hands-on System Performance Test Engineer to drive AI-powered innovation and automation across our existing NonStop System Performance test suite. Many of the test beds in our catalog have some degree of automation already built within them; however, we are looking to identify and execute potential AI innovations and automation opportunities.We're looking for someone who will bring new ideas to the organization and drive them through implementation. In addition to AI productivity experience, we are seeking an engineer who also has previous experience with system performance testing. As a member of the NonStop Performance Team, you will also participate in NonStop System Performance testing.Our NonStop Performance Team provides end-to-end performance evaluation of the NonStop Compute and Software solution, including x86 processors, memory, networking, and storage subsystem components.You will work as a member of the Performance Team, which owns benchmarking strategy, deep-dive profiling, performance tuning, and capacity characterization on Intel x86 platforms, high-speed interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand/RDMA), and our proprietary operating system and network stack (SSH, NFS, SMB/Samba, DNS, FTP/SFTP, NTP, and IPsec).This team's role is pivotal for customers in payment gateways, banking, stock exchanges, and telecom switching—domains that demand low latency, high throughput, and high availability.What You'll Do:As a member of the NonStop Performance Team:Become a participating member of the NonStop Performance Team to understand day-to-day performance testing workflows and identify AI innovation and automation opportunities.Collaborate with the NonStop Performance Team Engineering Lead to identify and execute prioritized AI productivity innovations and automation.As a member of the Performance Team, you may be tasked to:Execute, define, and drive performance activities, including metrics, KPIs, SLOs,...
