Housekeeper Supervisor

Pay Range: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Reports To: Director of Plant Operations

Rose Senior Living – Farmington Hills is seeking a hospitality-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping and laundry team. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community while setting clear expectations, supporting employees, and holding the team accountable for meeting community standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and support the housekeeping  team.
• Assign daily responsibilities and ensure adequate coverage.
• Set clear performance expectations and consistently hold team members accountable.
• Conduct routine inspections of resident apartments and common areas, addressing deficiencies promptly.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as operational needs require.
• Address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns in partnership with the Director of Plant Operations and Human Resources.
• Maintain inventory and communicate supply, maintenance, staffing, and resident concerns.
• Model professionalism, reliability, hospitality, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and provide clear direction.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and follow-through skills.
• Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience is a plus.
