American Express National Bank seeks Managers, Compliance to, under the supervision of a Director, conduct statistical analyses to assess potential risks and ensure compliance with fair lending practices.
Collect data and information, and conduct reviews related to fair lending evaluations. Develop and apply statistical models to identify patterns or disparities in credit-related decision-making processes. Review and analyze business processes across the credit lifecycle to identify and address potential areas of risk. Prepare and present findings from data analyses to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with data analysis, Big data analysis, data visualization and reporting, machine learning and advance analytics. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: SQL programming, including query optimization and working with large datasets; working with Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark; data visualization and reporting tools, including Excel and PowerBI; and Archer, Collibra, Hive, Jupyter, Notebooks, Python, and SQL. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
