You will be based in our Round Rock, TX office as a Trade Compliance Specialist supporting import, export, and regulatory compliance activities that enable lawful, efficient global trade operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure transactions align with company policies and international trade requirements, while helping strengthen processes, controls, and continuous improvement across the compliance program.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide clear and accurate instructions to customs brokers for import shipments, including guidance on classification, valuation, country of origin, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate import clearance activities and partner with logistics, supply chain, finance, engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve compliance questions.
- Review transactions for export compliance considerations, including licensing, restricted destinations, and end-use or end-user risks.
- Perform restricted party and sanctions screenings; assess and document results; and escalate complex issues when appropriate.
- Prepare and support export license applications by compiling relevant business, technical, and transactional information.
- Classify products, parts, software, and technology using applicable trade classification systems.
- Maintain accurate and complete compliance records, documentation, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize systems and tools to support classification, screening, reporting, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Contribute to internal audits, process improvements, training materials, and business communications.
- Partner across teams to provide practical guidance and foster consistent, audit-ready compliance practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Legal Studies, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in international trade compliance, import/export operations, customs, logistics, regulatory compliance, or a related function.
- Working knowledge of U.S. import and export regulations, customs processes, restricted party screening, export licensing, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Experience with HTS classification, ECCN assignment, export control reviews, and compliance procedural documentation.
- Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience using ACE reporting tools and trade compliance systems, including Oracle, SAP, TRAX, E2Open, TradeSphere Exporter, Archer, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting customs broker management, broker instructions, post-entry activities, and broker standard operating procedures.
- Experience preparing or supporting export license applications SNAP-R and managing temporary import/export documentation such as ATA Carnets.
- Experience supporting internal audits, self-assessments, corrective action plans, training materials, compliance process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment.
