ISC Production Supervisor – Special Processes (Paint & Chemical Operations)

As an ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage production operations to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for overseeing production schedules, managing resources, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This position will lead production activities within the Paint & Chemical Processes area (Special Processes), including chemical processing, paint application, epoxy coatings, varnishes, masking, and demasking operations.

In this role, you will impact the company's success by optimizing production workflows, reducing downtime, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, ultimately contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the business.

This position requires a higher level of technical expertise and leadership than a standard Production Supervisor role. The candidate will lead a critical production area with direct responsibility for certified chemical processes, safety compliance, and operational performance.

The role manages skilled and certified employees, supports high-risk chemical operations, and serves as the primary representative during NADCAP, Network, and other compliance audits.

Given the technical complexity, safety responsibility, and business impact of this position, a higher salary increase is justified to attract and retain the right talent.

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Lead and oversee production operations within the Paint and Chemical Processing area.
  • Manage special processes including:
    • Chemical processing
    • Painting application
    • Epoxy coating application
    • Varnish application
    • Masking and demasking operations
  • Implement and monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead and mentor production team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Participate in and support NADCAP audits and other special process compliance assessments.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in production supervision or management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools.
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing operations related to: Paint processes, Chemical processing, Coatings, Surface treatments and Special processes
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge on ERP systems (SAP).
  • Experience supporting, participating in, or leading NADCAP audits and compliance activities.
  • Availability to work Second Shift and flexibility to rotate shifts when required by business needs.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in production.
  • Six Sigma or related certifications
