Senior Software Engineer (Golang, Python, SQL)Full-timeCareer Site Team: TechnologyJob DescriptionAs a Senior Software Developer at Digital-shelf NielsenIQ’s platform for omnichannel CPG brands analytics, you’ll work across as backend software to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that drive real-time insights for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on performance and scalability. Implement efficient algorithms and seamless user experiences using Python, Golang Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and data researchers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Optimize applications for performance, security, and responsiveness. Lead architectural discussions and mentor junior developers through code reviews and best practices. Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support dynamic data access and delivery. Own end-to-end delivery of features, including infrastructure, backend, and frontend components. Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute innovative ideas to evolve the platform. Contribute to Agile practices including sprint planning, estimation, and documentation. QualificationsTech Stack & Tools: Frontend: React.js, HTML5, CSS3, Next.js Backend: Golang, Python Cloud & DevOps: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Filestore Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL, Redis, MongoDB Analytics Engines: DuckDB, Polars Testing & Automation: Cypress.io Other Tools: RESTful APIs, Git, Agile methodologies Nice to Have: Experience with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, Next.js, rust.
