Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager that will support and be accountable for the full supply chain scope associated with STaRS (Strategic & Tactical Radar Solutions).  This position will interact with the program office and all functions that support the material order placement process including supplier management, Engineering, Mission Assurance, and Acquisitions.  The MPM will also manage all material needs / tasks tied to FEOTB (Front End of The Business) through execution of contract and closure. This position is also responsible for the proposal support, planning, quarterly EAC support, Sales forecasting for material, and supplier management collectively with Procurement / Commodity Teams to ensure that the program(s) have material to support schedule, cost, & quality needs and the financial business acumen for business.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Program Manager and all Cross-Functional leaders to ensure execution of AOP, OTD delivery, and material coverage to enable program to meet commitments to internal and external customers.
  • Be responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of all program material strategies, plans, and supplier risk mitigation activities.
  • Establish and drive material sales forecasting for assigned program and product line.
  • Drive FEOTB front end of business activities related to MRP planning, load, material releases, initial & quarter EAC reporting, etc.
  • Work with Program, Factory, and Supply Base to establish accurate material coverage to meet MRP needs and other sustainment execution efforts.
  • Establish accurate manufacturing plannings with Program Operations Managers (POM) and the Program to manage specific risks & opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional leads and other team members to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Engage with Engineering, Mission Assurance (Quality), and Supply Chain organizations to drive supplier performance, execution, and yield of products needed for TFR programs.
  • Prepare & present information for weekly / monthly management reviews, summarizing program status & any on-going production / sustainment issues.
  • Support proposal activities including Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation, material pricing inputs with SCPX, and RFQ planning / execution with specialist and buyers, and work with Procurement to manage CAPA closure on all TINA requirements necessary.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by documenting program execution insights, capture lessons learned, and contributing to repeatable process improvements that strengthen MPM execution standards across the team.
  • Solve material planning/procurement issues and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications They Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree and 5 years prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a supply chain role.
  • Experience in Material Sales forecasting, Risk & Opportunity management, Material Estimates at Completion (EACs) and/or Earned Value Management (EVMS)

Qualifications We Value

  • Knowledge and experience in Export/Import Compliance requirements for international business partners and suppliers
  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes across product life cycle
  • Supplier management experience

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
