Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver customized product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution narratives that address customer challenges and business objectives.
- Partner with sales and business development teams throughout the pre-sales process, including discovery discussions, technical evaluations, scoping, pricing conversations, and contract support.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions by understanding workflows, use cases, and operational needs.
- Build compelling demonstrations and data-driven workflows that highlight platform capabilities and value.
- Serve as a technical advisor for customers, addressing complex questions and ensuring stakeholders understand solution capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing teams to provide customer insights and improve solution strategies.
- Use data analysis and visualization techniques to communicate meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop reusable content, processes, and enablement materials to support team scalability and improve sales effectiveness.
- Stay current on product advancements, technical trends, customer needs, and industry developments to inform solution design.
- Support customer engagements through frequent travel, building strong relationships with stakeholders across different environments.
- 5–7+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong technical or engineering background, ideally in computer science, data science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Significant experience working in a pre-sales capacity, leading technical discussions, demonstrations, discovery sessions, and solution design conversations.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- Experience using data analysis and visualization techniques to create compelling business narratives.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, customer success, sales, and marketing teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex challenges and create innovative solutions.
- Customer-focused approach with strong listening skills and the ability to understand stakeholder needs.
- Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn new technologies, product capabilities, and industry trends.
- Experience supporting customers in public safety, emergency management, government, or national security environments is considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40–50% of the time.
- Must be located in Canada near a major airport or metropolitan area to support regular customer travel.
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 – $185,000 CAD annually, based on skills, experience, and location.
