Your Mission:
As a Founder’s Associate, you will work closely with the Founder and CEO and leadership team to help drive the company’s strategic priorities and operational execution.
In this role, you will take ownership of high-impact, cross-functional projects across the business. These may range from supporting strategic initiatives in commercial, product, and operations teams to improving internal processes, building organisational structures, and helping ensure alignment as the company scales.
This role is ideal for someone who is excited by our mission of enabling anyone to invest in capital markets. You will be close to many strategic initiatives and interact beyond lemon.markets towards our parent company, dwpbank. You will get the best of both worlds: the opportunity to work closely with experienced experts across functions while taking on meaningful ownership in a dynamic and ambitious environment.

You will:
Support the Founder and CEO on strategic and operational projects that drive company goals and priorities.
Analyse market developments, competitor dynamics, and trends across the European brokerage, wealth, and investment infrastructure landscape.
Take ownership of special projects that support the next stage of lemon.markets’ growth, with a special focus on brokerage, custody and capital markets.
Lead and mentor the Founder’s Associate Intern team, providing structure, guidance, and prioritisation across projects while helping develop their skills and ensuring high-quality execution.
Contribute to refining and scaling internal processes, documentation, and operating structures across the company, especially in light of what becomes possible with AI.
Help develop, structure, and execute cross-functional initiatives across teams.
Act as a connector across the organisation by understanding team priorities, spotting gaps and blockers early, and helping drive effective cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
You have a background (bachelor and master degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer science or a similar area.
You are an entrepreneurial problem solver. You strive to take ownership of the tasks you get and apply your analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style towards solving them.
You have gained 2 years or more of hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you have worked in an early-stage startup, fintech, consulting, tech company or similar.
You bring experience from the world of brokerage, trading or custody and/or are deeply excited to get into the engine room details of our mission to make anyone an investor.
You cope well with frequent change and ambiguity. Changing tasks & requirements excite you. You are able to think logically, break down complex problems and prioritise between multiple tasks on your table.
You are a team player. Working together as a team and sharing knowledge comes naturally to you.
You have no problem with learning new tools and skills on the go. You try to solve problems with more things than the ones you already know. We will always enable you with that, but your willingness has to come first.
You enjoy solving problems. You are able to handle multi-faceted workloads and are willing to completely own complex issues by yourself.
You never let anything fall down your plate. Being on top of things is what you are known for. Having no hesitation to follow up on people until the job gets done.
You are a jack of many trades. You are data-driven, analytical, a deep thinker, and understand financial modeling. Ready to dive into any topic that comes your way.
You are ready and willing to take ownership. “This is not my job!” is not part of your vocabulary - you identify problems, take initiative to take them on, and challenge the status quo.
