As a custom layout designer, you will be involved in:
- Implementing high speed and high accuracy cells, blocks and IP blocks in a timely fashion with high quality and efficiency
- Building layouts and layout methodologies involving the latest nodes from the world leading foundries
- Working with custom layout designers from groups all over the world to build high quality IP and test-chips
- Working with circuit designers from groups all over the world to understand their technical and schedule needs
- Collaborate with the Cadence R&D teams (Virtuoso, PVS developers) to help develop the industry-leading layout editing and verification tools

- Custom Layout Experience 3 - 10yrs
- Coding Skills is a ++
- Exposure to microelectronics design and requirements
- Understanding of layout effects on the circuit such as speed, capacitance, power and area etc.,
- Knowledge of various analog layout techniques like matching, shielding etc.,
- Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso Layout and physical verification tools
- Team player, driven, self-motivated and autonomous
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Exposure to microelectronics design and requirements

- Collaborer avec des concepteurs analogiques de circuits intégrés de différentes régions du monde afin de comprendre leurs besoins techniques et de planification.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de R et D de Cadence (développeurs Virtuoso et Pegasus) pour contribuer au développement des outils d'édition et de vérification des circuits intégrés.
Description de poste supplémentaire
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie électrique
- Expérience en layout analogique : 3 à 10 ans
- Excellentes compétences en programmation
- Connaissance de la conception et des exigences en microélectronique
- Compréhension de l’influence de l’implantation sur le circuit (vitesse, résistance, capacitance, consommation de courant, surface, etc.)
- Connaissance des techniques de layout analogique (matching, shielding, etc.)
- Maîtrise des outils de Cadence Virtuoso Layout et de vérification physique
- Esprit d'équipe, dynamisme, autonomie et motivation
- Excellentes compétences en communication, en présentation et en service à la clientèle

The annual salary range for Canada is $109,000 to $202,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
