What You Will Do?
As a Tool Crib Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of the tool crib, ensuring all tools and equipment are efficiently managed and readily available to support production and maintenance activities. Your role will involve supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance with company standards.
How You Will Do It?
- Lead and mentor the tool crib team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve operational goals.
- Implement efficient inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce downtime caused by tool unavailability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging staff to identify and address inefficiencies in processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tool crib operations with broader organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repairs, and replacements to ensure accountability and compliance with safety standards.
What are We Looking For?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar supervisory role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to tool and equipment management.
- Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
